Mavel, a.s. is a global leader in the supply of Kaplan, Francis, Pelton and micro turbines for hydroelectric power plants utilizing turbines from 30 kW to 30+ MW. Over the past twenty years, Mavel has signed contracts for more 500 turbines at sites around the world. Mavel, a.s. has more than 20 projects underway, including a Pelton project in British Columbia and a Kaplan project in Ontario. With ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification, Mavel manufactures all turbines at its Czech Republic production facilities.  Sales, project management, purchasing and service activities in the Americas are handled through Mavel Americas, Inc., which is based in Boston, MA with offices in Victoria, BC and Sacramento, CA.
