Lisa Pasin was elected the City’s first female Mayor in 2018 after serving on Council for a four year term. Lisa was born and raised in Trail and graduated from JL Crowe Secondary School. Lisa began her post secondary education at Selkirk College in Castlegar and completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration in Executive Management from Royal Roads University in Victoria.
Lisa has been employed in the health and wellness industry for 16 years, most recently as the Director of Development for the KBRH Health Foundation and as a member of the Lower Columbia Community Development Team Society – Health and Hospital Committee. Through this role she focuses on improving the quality of health care for citizens across the Kootenay Boundary.
Lisa is proud to be living and working in her home town of Trail and enjoys time spent with her large family. She is excited to work with council to keep the City of Trail moving forward with the progress and momentum that it has experienced over the last four years. Areas of focus over this next term include economic development, infrastructure renewal, health and wellness, and community safety and security.
