The Conference Committee is seeking student participation in a poster board competition during Generate 2019 for a chance to win $500!

Suggested research topics include clean energy, renewable energy, alternative energy, technology, First Nations, rural development, electric vehicles and climate change.

Please register for Generate 2019’s Student Competition by filling out the registration form (one per team) and sending to Jennifer Palfery at [email protected] by November 1st.




Students who participate in the poster board competition will receive complementary conference registration for Generate 2019!


Competition

Details

Both completed and on-going research qualifies. A student could have graduated in 2019 and still qualify. The winners will be announced during the conference on November 7th and are invited to the Awards Dinner that evening where they may bring one guest. The review panel consists of CEBC members with both academic and industry backgrounds. Only limited spaces are available.

Format

Students will be provided with 8’ wide x 4’ high poster boards to display their research.


Oral and Poster Presentations

$500 will be awarded in each of two categories: graduate and undergraduate. Students will have the opportunity to present their research in poster board format during the conference to delegates and judges. Poster boards will be set-up at various locations throughout the Trade Show Floor, and you will be expected to answer questions by judges and conference attendees.
