David Warner

David Warner joined EDF Renewables Inc. (EDFR) in 2010. In his current role as Associate Director – Business Development, he is primarily focused on development of new opportunities for wind, solar and batter storage.

In addition to sourcing new utility and non-utility offtake opportunities for EDFR, David is overseeing the development and permitting of EDFR’s storage assets in New York and western Canada.

David’s work includes interaction with provincial governments, community stakeholders, municipalities and First Nation communities throughout the development process, resulting in long lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships.

David has been working in the renewable energy sector for more than 12 years. Prior to joining EDF EN Canada, David spent several years at a leading Ontario consulting firm providing a variety of services for his clients in the renewable energy sector including project siting, wind reporting and GIS analysis.

David is based at EDFR’s Canadian head office in Toronto.
